The five major spot technological products of HOZON Intelligent Technology 2.0 featuring high intelligence, high efficiency, high integration, high performance and great comfort boast an overall advantage of "multi-specialty and multi-function", which will complement NETA Auto's vehicle-wide platform, continuing to empower Neta S, Neta GT, Neta U, Neta AYA and NETA Auto's subsequent series of models.

 

HOZON Super-Computer was first to debut at the ceremony. HOZON Super-Computer is a series of controller products developed by the NETA Auto with its growth Electronic/Electrical Architecture on Shan-Hai platform, featuring High intelligence, High integration, High safety, Small size and Strong platform compatibility. It is the intelligent brain of the vehicle, supporting the explosive growth of software, providing core support for NETA Auto to lead the industry with intelligent products. NETA Auto has launched a new era of intelligent experience for users.

Specifically, HOZON Super-Computer has pioneered the industry's first integrated gateway domain control, which integrates seven core system functions, such as intelligent gateway, power control, energy management, and intelligent diagnosis, and further developed integrated central domain control products of HOZON, providing the vehicle with deep integration and centralized computing processing capabilities of 10 core functions, including high-speed navigation, memory parking, urban navigation, intelligent gateway, and power energy management. In addition, HOZON's central brain will use a processor with a super strong AI computing power of 1000+TOPS and a shared storage with the highest automotive grade of 1TB and regional controllers to provide 500+SOA service interfaces, making electric vehicles more "intelligent". The second technical product released this time is HOZON Skateboard Chassis. As a global platform architecture, it can be applied to various vehicle models, with advantages such as high integration, high efficiency, high endurance, and high C-rate. Through the decoupling development of upper and lower vehicle bodies and software and hardware, it improves production efficiency by 20 times, reduces production sites by 50%, and shortens R&D cycles by 30%, thereby reducing costs and increasing efficiency. In addition, equipped with the HOZON Super-Computer platform, AC asynchronous and permanent magnet synchronous SiC electric drive, and CTC technology, and through the design of an integrated die-casting process and aluminum alloy extruded energy compartment, it integrates the battery compartment with the body structure, achieving stronger universality, larger load capacity, nano-scale installation accuracy, and higher stiffness, resulting in a significant increase in vehicle performance, reliability, productivity, and site utilization, as well as empowerment for intelligent driving.

The third technological product released this time, HOZON Electric Drive will provide a strong "heart" and a strong "muscle" for NETA Auto models. HOZON announces 2 types of electric drive systems this time: 180kW 400V electric drive system and 250kW 800V HV SiC electric drive system. With four major characteristics of "high efficiency, high e-driving range, high comfortability, and high reliability", it can provide users with stronger power, longer e-driving range, higher driving comfort, more reliable systems, and a friendly driving experience without anxiety for charging.

 

On one hand, the advantage of HOZON Electric Drive lies in its three-in-one structure, which highly integrates motor, reducer, and inverter. On the other hand, thanks to its application of a new type of in-slot oil cooled hair-pin motor, gears with high-strength spoke structure, and a new space vector control algorithm, the insulation system operates more reliably, the system structure is more compact, and the NVH performance of the vehicle is also improved. With the software and hardware platform that supports both 400V and 800V, users can achieve a 200-kilometer range by charging for just 5 minutes. Additionally, it perfectly supports both household charging piles and public charging piles, allowing users to simply choose the appropriate voltage platform for charging, providing higher flexibility and more conveniences.

The fourth technical product, HOZON Range Extender, was unveiled at the launch event. It is a highly integrated product with features of high efficiency, good NVH performance, and intelligence to comprehensively improve users' driving experience. Taking high efficiency as an example, the Atkinson engine with high-efficiency designed for range extender specially is used for HOZON Range Extender, and it can produce 3.26 kWh electric energy with 1Litre gasoline, which is a high-efficient level currently. In terms of high integration, the HOZON Range Extender was designed with such characteristics as smaller bearing clearance in the crankshaft system, direct connection between generator and engine, and flywheel-rotor integration, greatly reducing volume and weight. Furthermore with those designs, without noise of gears, HOZON Range Extender significantly achieved a quietness level of only 78.9 dB at 2500 rpm. Coupled with intelligent algorithms for Range Extender control and developing human-vehicle-road scenarios based control strategies, it will be much smart. This ensures fuel efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and ease of use for users, without compromising on comfort and range.

 

Chen Lingping, from NETA Auto, expressed, "HOZON had achieved one generation of mass production, developing a generation and reserved technology for another generation in Range Extender product. The next generation of reserve technology will integrate human-vehicle-road based intelligent control, all-in-one integration, and flat wire oil-cooled generator, etc., to increase the fuel-to-electricity conversion rate to 3.4 kWh/L and achieve a tranquility level of 75 dB."

The fifth technical product, HOZON Thermal Control, was unveiled at the launch event, enabling vehicle cabin to be comfortably warmed even in winter while maintaining an extended range. This technology relieves the industry pain point of the significant reduction in electric vehicle range during winter. The heat pump A/C technology of HOZON Thermal Control features low energy consumption, wide temperature range, and high integration. It has undergone extreme soldier-style training and testing to validate its performance. The power consumption for heating of the heat pump A/C is less than 800W, resulting in a winter range increase of up to 20%, which truly avoids energy waste and relieves users' endurance anxiety. In addition, the working temperature of the HOZON Thermal Control System is as low as minus 35 ℃, and the temperature of the heat pump mode is as low as minus 20 ℃, which are far better than the industry average. Whether in hot Turpan or extremely cold Mohe, the HOZON Thermal Control System can work normally, allowing users to travel without any "restricted regions" with longer endurance.

 

NETA Auto's Su Keye, also expressed, “At present, HOZON Thermal Control System roadmap is mass production for one generation, R&D for one generation and planning for one generation. Among them, the HOZON Thermal Control 1.0 will be mass-produced this year, featuring integrated modular design and utilizing dual-source low-temperature heat pumps. The battery can be fully charged within half an hour. HOZON Thermal Control 2.0 will adopt the direct heat pump architecture, incorporating compressor hot gas bypass technology and intelligent control algorithms, enabling the battery to be rapidly charged within 15 minutes. HOZON Thermal Control System 3.0 will use a new refrigerant, which will lead the industry in terms of system integration, efficiency and temperature range.”
