Expanding the electric vehicle market to Myanmar

Bangkok, October 18, 2022 – NETA has recently signed a strategic cooperation agreement with GSE Group to officially introduce NETA electric vehicles in Myanmar. The move also made it the first new-generation Chinese EV car manufacturer to enter Myanmar. Mr. Min Khant Lwin, President of Grand Sirius Company Limited (GSE) and Mr. Wang Chengjie, Vice President of Hozon New Energy Automobile Co., Ltd. together with executives from both companies attended the signing ceremony at Neta Auto (Thailand) Co., Ltd.

NETA in Partnership with GSE Will Help Strengthen the Electric Vehicle Industry in Myanmar
Over the past years, the Myanmar government has issued several incentive policies to support the development of the local NEV market. Meanwhile, rising oil prices have also boosted local consumer demand for electric vehicles. The collaboration between NETA and the strategic partner, GSE, to introduce electric vehicles in Myanmar will help provide comprehensive EV intelligent mobility services to Myanmar people and help accelerate the growth of the new energy vehicle market in Myanmar. Under this strategic cooperation, NETA plans to introduce quality products such as NETA U and NETA V and brings a smart and eco-friendly driving experience to consumers in Myanmar while providing everyone with equal access to electric vehicle technology.

Since 2022, NETA has started rapid overseas business expansion and has expanded its operations to many countries such as Israel, Nepal, Laos and Myanmar for the past 2 months. NETA has received orders for more than 5,200 vehicles from foreign markets and has launched more than 30 new dealers while continuing to expand its operations around the world.
